Reduce the number of dogs and cats entering local shelters. Reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats who end up dumped or neglected. Provide ways for low-income families and individuals to be responsible pet owners.

Providing spay/neuter surgeries for pets of low income caretakers has reduced the intake at Huntsville Animal Services by 50%.

Since the program began, SNAP has provided over 20,000 spay/neuter surgeries for the pets of our community. SNAP (Spay/Neuter Action Project) is a 501 (c) (3) organization that serves Madison County, Alabama.
